SUMMER READING – EURO STUDENTS

Here is a list of books to pick from to read in English over the summer.

TASK: choose a book and write a reading report. This should include:
-       1- the summary of the book;
        2- your personal opinion : did you like/not like this book and why (use precise examples to illustrate your point of view)

- Animal Farm by George Orwell

- The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
- Cider with Rosie by Harper Lee
- "The birds ", "The apple tree" and other short stories by Daphné du Maurier (simplified)

- "Lamb to the slaughter "and "Poison" by Roald Dahl (" Tales of the unexpected")

- " The tell-tale heart " , "The golden bug" , "The black cat", "The oblong box" by E. A. Poe

- " A perfect day for banana fish ", "Teddy" by JD. Salinger
